Welcome to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Our goal is to keep you informed about what is happening in our community and to provide you with helpful resources. The latest resource we have available is a mechanism that enables you to keep track of sexual offenders/predators that may live around your home or your child’s school or day care center. By clicking on the 'Sex Offender Email Notification System' box below, you will be able to subscribe - at no charge - to an email notification system that will alert you anytime a registered sexual offender/predator moves within a pre-determined radius of any Columbia County address. This email system will also allow you to track a specific offender by name. It is sad we live in a society where we have to go to such great lengths to protect our children, but we will all do anything we can to provide that protection. By teaming up with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, we are able to bring you the latest and most accurate information on all of Florida’s registered sexual offenders and predators. Once you access the database, you will be asked to enter your email address and a password and then the program will walk you through the steps.
